So it's REALLY "DEAD" even though if I restart cgminer it will be fine for a little?

Might want to try the basics, new drivers, reseating, and so on. Sounds odd that it can mine for a bit then die...

Sick, or Dead is just an error displayed when CGminer can no longer access the GPU. This can happen when there is a display driver crash, or other instability issues.

Restart the computer, lower settings or increase voltage a little then continue mining.

It's not every time that you need to do a full reboot either. Try closing then relaunching the mining software.

This is not to say the GPU isn't damaged or somehow on it's way out as a result of the high intensity mining. It very well could be, but an error from CGminer doesn't mean much of anything other than to spit out a response for api's to remotely monitor. Generally when a card dies from mining, it will die completely from a blown capacitor, short out, stop working all together unable to boot.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.
