My specs

Ryzen 7 1700 @ 3.7ghz

Asus Crosshair VI Hero

2x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2133 @ 3200mhz 16 18 18 18 38

MSI Armor GTX 1070 OC 8G

A few days ago i upgraded my ram from basic Crucial ram which i had OCed to 3000 from 2400 to the corsair ram which I OCed up to 3200 from 2133. About a day after upgrading, the Q-led displayed error code F9, which happened a few times that day, but after a few restarts it booted normally (just as a side note, the pc did not freeze or crash once). I looked around and seen that re-flashing BIOS usually helped, so I did. Today, the code popped up again. What could be causing this?

Thank you in advance.

Looks Ram related,

Are the DIMMS from Corsair on the QVL for that board?

Do they error at stock settings?

On the CH7 it almost always presents when overclocking RAM.  I'm not saying it will always present, but that when it does it is while overclocking RAM.

F9 = memory issues. Probably failing memory training. Try more voltage or a less extreme overclock. Also BIOS update if not latest version.

@TheGlenlivet, @chckovsky

Doesn't look like theyre on the QVL, must have overlooked it. They dont error at stock.

I already have the latest BIOS available.

As to voltage I'm currently at 1.35v and i dont think I would feel comfortable going higher than that.
