I'm not sure. If I'm looking at it from a pessimistic standpoint, I'd expect full price or around 10% off. But if I'm optimistic about it, Rockstar may start it out at around what we saw on Black Friday which is around 27% off. If we look back to when GTA 5 released on Steam, it was full price and approximately 2 months later it was half price but only for one or two days.

 

GTA 5 released on PC on April 14th, 2015 and then hit half price on June 15th, 2015 and shot back up to full price by June 17th, 2015. RDR 2 is releasing in December though. Since that is around Christmas time, I would probably at least expect RDR 2 to be around the Black Friday price of 27% off, possible 30-33% off somewhere in December. That's pretty much $39.99 to $42.99.

 

Imo though, January or February is around a time frame to expect a price drop in general. As well as people selling off their RDR2 Steam keys they get for free when buying Christmas and New Years bundles from retail stores and simply wanting a quick $25.00 to $35.00 because they don't even play video games.

 

I think $39.99 is a price people will eat up and if I were in their shoes that is the price I would start the game at on Steam on December 5th for a 24 to 48 hour period. Bare in mind though, I am not them.

You have to bookmark all those kinds of missions from the rockstar social club website here... https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/. Search what you're looking for. Numerous people have remade them so bookmark the ones that have been played the most for the ones that work better than others.

 

Once you bookmark them, you'll find them in your game. Can't remember what they're under but just search everything and you'll see em'. It's tough to find people that actually want to play those game modes anymore so keep that in mind.

The only ones that fill up are the ones you have businesses for. As long as those businesses are open, they will produce, so don't shut them down. Sometimes other ones fill up because you win business battles. And business battles pay double right now btw. So double money for your NC when you deliver business battles.

Best to not respond to those types of people and leave the session. You did the right thing. When people mention things like that, screenshot the things they say and keep them for if your account somehow gets messed with. Always best to leave sessions with modders period.

With your hardware, most likely. Something you're gonna have to figure out on your own though as I am not sure. When I record, fps takes very little impact, maybe 1-3 fps, if that. I record with Shadowplay.

 

Easiest way to find out is to just stand still for like 30 seconds in one spot. Write down the fps you're getting. Write the low and the high. Should be like 60-65 or 72-76 or 49-53. Whatever it is, write it down. Then just start recording for the next 30 seconds after that in the same spot. Don't move at all. Then just watch the video and write down the same thing. 60-65 or whatever you get while recording.

 

Then you can compare the two sets of numbers to determine what recording does to your fps.

I think so. You won't be able to open it without updating it, I think. I recommend it regardless.

 

Drivers are not necessary to update all the time. I recommend sticking with the drivers you've always been using especially if the majority of the games you play run the way you have expected them to run. I try to update my drivers around twice a year. And I use DDU to do a fresh driver install when I do.

It's not exactly a launcher, that's just what it's called. Seems to be a mandatory update from Steam. Then you just start the game as usual and the launcher starts immediately after you run the game like before. It's as if there isn't even a launcher.

Not sure what you mean by this exactly. What type of session? People randomly leave lobbies all the time. People randomly leave heists for random reasons, some of which because they simply lagged out.
