Help with G502 Hero

So I just got a g502 hero and when i plugged it in, it was working, but when I installed the drivers, it stopped working, and is just blinking red on the logo now. I currently am using my corsair glaive rgb because the g502 wont work. Could the glaive drivers be interfering or is it something else? Please help because the glaive is kind of broken and is the reason I got the g502. Thanks!

always uninstall old drivers

I'd recommend downloading the Logitech Gaming Software or the newer Logitech G Hub to see if it solves your initial mouse connection, and further look into the blinking light which could possibly be a game integration setting, for example GTA 5 makes the logo blink red whenever you have wanted stars.
