Normally if the controller detects a flash error or the write cycles are used the controller sets the drive to read only mode so you can recover your data. The fact it's dead entirely means it's probably the controller that's failed and chances are your data is fine.

If you're confident with a soldering iron (technically it would be BGA soldering) you could buy an identical known working drive and swap the controller over however I'd strongly suggest you take the above advice and send it to a professional.

Main Rig:-

Ryzen 7 3800X | Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming | 16GB Team Group Dark Pro 3600Mhz | Corsair MP600 1TB PCIe Gen 4 | Sapphire 5700 XT Pulse | Corsair H115i Platinum | WD Black 1TB | WD Green 4TB | EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W | Asus TUF GT501 | Samsung C27HG70 1440p 144hz HDR FreeSync 2 | Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS |

Server:-

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)

Have you tried it in another computer to make sure it's the drive?

If so, and it's still not working, you're going to need a professional to repair it, assuming the issue is something that can be repaired without complete data loss.

Always backup your data on a separate storage device.
