Laptop battery is charging but won't turn laptop on

I just replaced my laptop battery because the old one was not working properly. Got the installing done and I tested it by turning it on, to my surprise it didn't turn on. Fine, I guess it was because it has 0% in the battery, so I plugged it to the charging cable just to see really how much power is left on the battery. It said 43%, at least now I know that the battery is working properly. Then I unplugged it from the wall, and it just turns off.... What? Like straight up blank dead. So my question is why is this?

My Laptop is a Lenovo Y50-70

Recheck the if the battery is compatible or if the internal circuits work or if everything is connected.
This also could either be the screen connector or windows 10 being a problem.
Connect to your external monitor to try this.

If nothing else works just contact lenovo services. they have pretty good support.
