I have an  Acer Predator Helios 500 and was wondering if I should upgrade? Right now I don't really have an idea as to the exact specs. I don't have much of an idea of what I want in a custom pc.

That thing has some decent hardware, are you not getting performance that you're looking for?

Is your current system not performing as expected, as needed, or, for some other reason needing replacement?

If the answer is yes to any of these, then an upgrade may be viable. If the answer is no, then there's no pressing need.
The Helios 500 sports some solid hardware, so any upgrades you make will end up being reasonably expensive.

This depends, what version of the Helios 500 (specs) do you have?
