Since I've installed windows 8.1 my printer still works however if i want to scan something to my pc I can't. Brother says that this printer is windows 8.1 compatible, however it is only partialy compatible since the scanner doesn't work at all...


 


I've encountered some problems with w8.1, for example, the last one was corsair link which was solved with a registry change, and I was hoping this problem could be fixed this way or in another wicked or simple way...

I don't see how, buy a new printer I guess, if its not compatible lol sorry mate

Running a VM is always an option.

Install the Windows 8.1 driver (or re-install it) and try again.

Nope, I guess it's not compatible... What a waste...

that's just bull shit on brothers part. I'm using a hp all in one from 2003 that i have gutted the printer out of as my scanner and it works in windows 8 so ya(i need a new scanner lol).
