Evening all,

This may sound a simple one but my head is a shed at the moment and my brain can’t seems to understand this so help me out?

My sshd is super slow now with booting windows so I’m going to update to a m.2 drive because I’ve got the space so why not ay?

But I want to clone my sshd to the m.2 is there a good piece of software to use? I don’t like the whole reinstall because it means I have to rebuy windows unless there is a way to reinstall but keep windows activation key?

And if I clone from drive A (Sshd) to drive B (m.2) what happens to the drive letter? Because I want to use my sshd to store some large games that I don’t play as much.

Thank you to everyone that can help and If I’ve babbled to much and missed anything let me know and I will update it!

If you use Windows 10 with a Microsoft account your key should be attached to that. Just reinstall Windows and log in with that account. If you dont change out the Motherboard then generally your safe to upgrade the PC. Upgrading the storage drive should not cause Windows to through an activation issue. If it does, you can always look at the grey market for a key, or run unactivated like half the people in the world do or call Microsoft and ask them for help, generally they will do something for you.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
