Well, after the third Logitech K800 has crapped the bed, it's time for a new keyboard! But I've used nothing BUT Logitech boards or years and now it's time or something different. I'm seriously considering a mechanical board but also looking at RGB ones as someone who hates RGB, why? So I can light it up as I can with my K800, white of course as I've looked into Corsair's software and it allows for complete white lighting. That said I am looking at boards like the K68 and K70....both available here in Canada for about $150-$200. Maybe even a K95 RGB Platinum, all that said though, interested in suggestions for something similar that'll last more than a year...I'm particularly hard on keyboards. Thanks to the hopefully incoming advice here.

Purchased my K95 RGB Platinum in July 2017. It's still an excellent keyboard nearly 2 years later. No hardware issues, it has some really nice features, not to mention the price is lower now than it was back then. If you're willing to spend the money, I would 100% recommend it.

If you can wait for the Apex pro to come out, looks insane.

i have always been a ducky man myself, i had the Ducky 3 or still have, and the ducky 7, that is the keyboard brand i would recommend, unfortunatly, the double shot Keycaps, seems to have worsened in quality, or i would recommend a Shine 7, or a One 2.

They are still built as a tank, the backlight through the keys however are not perfect anymore, but it is still ok. and these keyboards last for a lifetime.
