Wait a few days and ask this question again after Monday when we learn more about the new Ryzen chips launching.

I assume you aren't using a 4k monitor, so you don't need to spend more than is actually necessary. This build below will likely get the job done. 8 cores 16 threads ticks the streaming box, and vega 56 is more than enough at 1080p plus fairly capable at 1440p, and has lots of vram for video editing. You will likely not need to spend more than this but I'm just guessing.

I would wait until Zen 2 is announced next week and get a Ryzen 3000 CPU.

I would build something similar, but with a new gen octacore (maybe going to be called 3700, but we will see next week).

You still have space for the "2K" monitor (I assume this means 1440p, because technically speaking 2K = 1080p).

Will say it again just to be clear: wait for Zen 2 announcement before buying anything.

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X Cooler: Corsair H100i Platinum SE Mobo: Asus B550-A GPU: EVGA RTX 2070 XC RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200MHz 16CL 4x8GB (DDR4) SSD0: Crucial MX300 525GB SSD1: Samsung QVO 1TB PSU: NZXT C650 Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow Monitor: Asus VG259QM (240Hz)

I usually edit my posts immediately after posting them, as I don't check for typos before pressing the shiny SUBMIT button.

Unraid Server

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600 Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S Mobo: Asus B650E-i RAM: Kingston Server Premier ECC 2x32GB (DDR5) SSD: Samsung 980 2x1TB HDD: Toshiba MG09 1x18TB; Toshiba MG08 2x16TB HDD Controller: LSI 9207-8i PSUCorsair SF750 Case: Node 304

Perhaps when it comes to refreshrate, but visuals are worse.

1440p is a lot nicer if you have the hardware to run it. 1080p is kinda "meh".

And you do mean 1080p when you say 2K right?

Because 1440p is 2,5k

No, 1080p is 2k

The 2k reffers to how wide it is. With the case of 1080p it is 1920 wide which is roughly 2k.

The 2560 in 1440p is 2,5k

I would go with an RTX 2080/ti over a Radeon VII.
