I'm assuming it is single channel memory, probably low speed - which would suffocate a 2600

I can't imagine whatever power supply they're putting in there is of great quality

That one is worse than the first

Is there any specific reason you're buying a prebuilt?

Because I can sell my current pc for £200 to Cex which gives me an extra £250 for a pc from them.

Get a GTX 1650; problem solved. The GPU is the problem

The PC is extremely loud as well I contacted HP and they said it can't be fixed. at idle it scrapes 50 decibels.

Replace the cpu cooler (assuming the mount isn't proprietary), grab a new gpu like @NunoLava1998 mentioned and get a new case with better airflow.

Is it coming from the GPU, PSU or CPU area?

Hard to pinpoint it, a mix of areas really. Well anyway if you can find a computer for either £385 from anywhere or £450 from Cex that would be ideal.

Open the case and listen carefully; also try lowering down the CPU RPM in BIOS and the GPU RPM in software to see if that fixes it (if it does, there's your culprit:tm:.)
