Microsoft store had higher download speeds than other programs

Go to solution Solved by minibois,

This is normal and correct.

Steam and Chrome show download speeds in MB. Microsoft Store apparently in Mb.

MB vs Mb:

MB stands for megabyte, Mb for megabit. 1 megabyte contains 8 megabits, which means that 70Mb equals to 8,75MB. Keeping in mind some rounding up/down either way and the speed of the servers, that looks correct what you are getting.

When I download through the Microsoft store (say Forza updates) I get around 60-70mbps whereas on steam and chrome I barely ever go above 7mbps. Why is this the case?
