You guys probably remember that Sony's next-gen console is supposed to have fast loading times and this video above shows a glimpse of what could be coming soon™.

Meh, it seemed like loading times started regressing to hell once optical media came around, ESPECIALLY in the 7th and 8th generations.

Although, I guess this generation is more of the transitional phase to hard drives and SSDs.

Isn't this video just showing the difference between hard drive and SSD?  And the people who didn't bother swapping an SSD into their PS4 pro would believe this is a breakthrough improvement.

So Sony has now released a powerpoint of from what you saw in the video.

 

The places to look at is pages 6,11,12. Not much is being said about the PS5(Next-Gen)
