Issues while trying to run Android x86

rfrank54

Hi, I am trying to run android in a virtual machine in Virtualbox. The computer I am running on is a MacBook Pro from 2012 in boot camp, and I know I can virtualize as I have done it before with Windows 10. I followed the instructions on how-to geek's article on running android here: https://www.howtogeek.com/164570/how-to-install-android-in-virtualbox/

When I unmounted the iso and booted into android, it ran through a bunch of things and then just showed what looked like a command line saying: root@x86:/ #

and it stops there. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or what I can do to continue?

That's probably just the terminal; maybe the UI isn't loading or your iso doesn't use an UI.
