Hi, recently when i'm playing Destiny 2 i start off getting around 90-100 fps but after playing for around 15 min my fps drops to around 40-50 fps. I haven't been able to find any explanation for this as my thermals are good and my drivers are up to date.

My PC:

6700k overclocked to 4.6GHz

Gigibyte arous xtreme 1080ti

Asus maximus VIII mobo

32 gbs of gskill 3200 ram

kingstons ssd 240gb

1tb western digital black hdd

cosair ax 760 psu

cosair h115i aio cooler.

Below I've included some pictures showing user bench before playing D2, GPU and CPU specs/ thermals while playing and getting good fps, GPU and CPU specs/ thermals while playing and getting bad fps, and user bench results after playing the game and having fps drop.

Anything helps, thanks for your feedback.

How do you handle drivers? if you always update it through geforce experience you might have come to the point you have so many left overs it's interfering with perfomance and a DDU in safe mode and reinstall fresh new is advisable.
