Computer Packing Foam

Qurk

Hello, we were wondering what that black foam is that is typically used for packaging computers. The type of foam that goes on the front and back of the case which keeps it from getting obliterated during shipping. Any suggestions will be helpful, thanks!

Its cell foam. Open, if its softer variant. Closed, if its harder variant. You can buy it from hardware stores in sheets (or rolls).

You could also use the expanding stuff in bags.

I have no idea what its called tho.

It them forms a hard foam inside the bag and keeps whatever its wrapped around safe

OEMs usually mold their own for each product. For one-off shipments, Instapak Quick is what you want.
