Budget Gaming Pc

I want to know if this build is good for the money besides the case. Playing games like over watch and fortnite would like at least 144 hz gaming on high in ow https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

You gave us the wrong link. You need to copy and paste the permalink. It's just above the compatibility bar.

Yeah, as far as parts and compatibility go, this build is solid. The A400 SSD isn't the best, but it's also really cheap and you likely won't notice much of a difference between it and any other SSD.

As for your workload, gaming, for the same price you'd be better off with a 9600K, which beats out the 2700X in gaming across the board. That's the only note I have.

Okay  If I change to 9600k I’d have to change motherboard anyway

Here ya go.. Better GPU, better storage, better motherboard, 2600 will be fine if you don't need 8 cores, trust me I'm using one right now. You'll get better gaming performance from this than the 2700X build.. The stock cooler is also decent so I wouldn't get an aftermarket one until you at least try the stock.. $149 for the 2600 is a steal!

I really wouldn't buy anything right now. Wait until we see what AMD's new stuff looks like, then make an educated purchasing decision.

As for your build, don't use the 212 EVO. It's no longer that great of a cooler.

1 tb wouldn’t be worth it right?

For the SSD? Yeah it can be. I use a 1TB myself. I like it because then I can have all my games installed on the SSD at once and I benefit from better load times and sometimes less texture pop-in.

He's using the 212 Black, not the Evo, which is a bit better.

Agreed about waiting, if it's an option.
