Cheapest rig for Bitcoin mining?

Go to solution Solved by Momas,

You won't get any profit any time soon (10 of those 333mh/s would earn you ~0.6$ a day currently) with USB miners. If you want to make any money from bitcoin mining use ASICs.

You are talking about these USB miners http://www.amazon.com/ASICMiner-Block-Erupter-USB-Sapphire/dp/B00CUJT7TO right?

They're useless in my opinion, because difficulty is way to high to mine with those. If you don't have AT LEAST ~1k $ to spend on bitcoin mining it's not worth it in my opinion.

Hi guys!

I want to get started with BC mining and have a dedicated rig running 24/7. Maybe with a couple of mining USB's in a powerd USB hub.

What is the cheapest mining rig where i can get profit from in around 1 ~ 2 months.

Thanks! :D

Probably buying a tonne of USB bitcoin miners are the best solution.. Unless electricity is getting paid by someone else like your parent I'd might now be worth it since Mining in quantity of graphics cards is better than in quality (it's debatable.)

litecoin would be ok but not bitcoin mining the only way i might be getting some money is when you are investing in those bitfury or antminers

The power is paid by my parents but we don't have a lot of money.. So just allot of mining USB's

Those USB stick miners really aren't worth it anymore. Bitcoin mining in general is not, unless you invest a lot in the first place. If you really want to try it, best solution is probably gonna be something from Butterfly Labs.

I would get the asicminer block erupter blade if you know how to proxy and set it up for $180-200 with 10 gh/s. Bitcoiin isn't really worth mining anymore unless you got industrial grade miners that push out th/s but even those would take a bit to break even. I'd recommend just amd gpu mining litecoins or doge.

Then don't waste money on mining.

I already wasn't planning to anymore.

That is a good decision in my opinion. The whole mining industry is just a big waste of energy, because you are just solving a puzzle with a random code your computer generates while eating power. The difficulty of that puzzle is set by the mood of the currency creator and heavily affects the used power per value.

This is a major design flaw of crypto currency. The creators of digital 'money' could just exchange their currency to any real currency without having people utilising terrawatts of energy for nothing, but a gift code. It almost seems to me like these creators work for powerplants. (Don't take this seriously.)
