Getting used to keyboards

So I’m in process of a new build and i’m looking at keyboards. I’m pretty sure I’m going with the K70 mk2 SE with mx speeds. So my question is, how long will it take for me to adapt from a membrane low-profile keyboard (feels tactile) to a mechanical linear mx speeds one? Is it worth it or should I look for other options?

All muscle memory, and everyone is different for how long it takes for them to adapt.  The more you use your keyboard, the quicker it usually is.  I switch between a K70 MK.2 SE at home and K70 MK.2 Low Profile (speed) at work, and after a few minutes I'm fine.  Granted both are linear, but the profile makes a difference in feel.
