Depends on how fast your internet connection is. CS:GO is only 20GB or something iirc, so downloading it shouldn't take that long.

Depends on your download speed.

I see on Steam it asks for 15GB of space on your PC and with the global average speeds  being 58Mbps (7,25MBps) it would take about 34 minutes to download.

Of course I am dealing with averages and I don't even know if that 15GB is accurate anymore..

 

Plus we're assuming Steam is giving you max speeds.. That your speed is somewhat close to the global average.

I'm gonna go with 'it depends'.

Well that would mean the download would take between 44 minutes and 2000 minutes (33,3 hours).

Are you not able to go to a different place to download the game? e.g. take a laptop to school and download the game there?
