What GPU do you recommend?

Hey guys.

I’m building my first PC and I can’t decide on a graphics card. So I’m using a CX750M for my powersupply, an Asus ROG Strix b450-F, 16g 3200MHz ram, and a Ryzen 5 2600X. What do you guys think would be a good GPU to pair? I was thinking a 1660 6 gig.

It depends on budget. Go for a 2060 if possible and use a 650W instead. You dont need 750

Thanks mate. The 750 was a gift from a friend so I figured ‘why not?’

1660 is great for 1080P, overclock to match 1660ti.

do you think you can wait till ryzen 3000 cpu & navi gpu?

Yeah if you got that as a gift, might as well put it in there for future proofing. But yeah I would probably say 2060 as well

I’m honestly really thinking about it. I just hope the B450-F will still be compatible.

ONE QUICK THING. I’m hoping to run at 120 Hz or so.

Yes I'm almost certain it will be compatible, not 100% sure, but looking at what they did with 1st gen to 2nd gen, id say its safe to say that they will continue the same chipset/pin layout.

For the entire PC? What's your budget for GPU since that's what this thread is about?

Vega 56 Pulse, 2060.
These are your options. Wouldn't recommend going with used 1080 as performance difference is minimal
