I'm personally not the most experienced at computers. I need a cheap good i5 any other cpu can work too. Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!

First off, welcome to the forum!

What is your price range? Performance per dollar is a thing but we need a range of how much you want to spend. If under $150 for just the CPU, you're probably looking at used or something lower then an i5.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/
