So why upgrade? What resolution do you play at? What's your goal? What are you trying to achieve? What do you want your computer to do? What do you use your computer for? What's your favorite color?

When did you build your pc? Is it not performing good enough for your standards? and what's your favorite color?

1080p? for that hardware?

get yourself a nice 1440p144hz monitor rather than upgrade your tower

Don't listen to Luke, he drinks during the day..

If I were you I would probably just upgrade your monitor to like 1440p or something.. You still have top of the line hardware for 1080p/1440p.. No need to upgrade anything inside the tower just yet..

There's only 2 "upgrades" for you. The 9900K on the CPU, and the RTX 2080 Ti for the GPU. The move to the 9900K won't do much for you and certainly isn't worth the cost. The move to the 2080 Ti is a bigger upgrade, but way more costly. There's really no reason to move to that either. Unless you were that bothered by the Metro Exodus Desert map dipping below 60 FPS at 1080p max settings. I do admit, that almost got me to grab a 2080 Ti from my 1080 Ti, but I pulled myself together and didn't do it!

I mean, if you insist on upgrading, stick with Intel. There's no reason to change platforms which will cost you even more. So the 9900k. But honestly you really won't see a difference. It'd be basically for bragging rights.

It won't result in any performance improvement. You're being held back by your monitor. Get a quality 1440p monitor and you'll see a huge visual improvement.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!
