Help: Need Cable/Adapters recommendation

Go to solution Solved by Glenwing,

You need a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter.

Hello LTT community,

I have a MacBook Pro (late 2017), and I recently bought a Dell S2719DGF which supports 2560x1440 at 144hz. Unfortunately, my current setup is unable to support the 144hz. I am currently using HDMI to USB-C and I believe the issue is caused by the use of my USB-C to HDMI adapter (it's the Apple adapter).

If anyone could provide me with a link to an adapter or cable, it would be greatly appreciated as the product descriptions online are not all to helpful.

Thanks.

Or a type C to HDMI 2.0 adapter.

HDMI 2.0 can do 1440p 144Hz.
