AMD Markham Event for 50th Anniversary

So AMD is hosting this thing tomorrow in Markham, Ontario. I was thinking of going but I don't see literally any official AMD advertisement for this event other than the meetup/eventbrite pages. They hired a local band it looks like. Is anyone planning to go and what are people expecting? I'm still on the fence.

I doubt they'd be showing anything important there. They are likely to be keeping everything under wrap for Computex

They specifically call out "leading-edge demos" so maybe just 1 little eng sample??? I can hope

Shit if they run that in front of me with a desktop that I can look at (hopefully a side window), I'd be ok with that

Those eventbrite things are cool. My friend invited me to one and it was free beer/wine and cheese and cracker platter. I think it was a consultation think but I sure got my (free) ticket’s worth. Had about 14 beers and nearly all of the platter, which kept on coming.

I got one, it's just a holo print of half a zen die, they did have real dead chip keychains but only as display not for purchase or giveaway
