From experience I can say there is a 99% chance it works and a 1% it doesn't work.

If you are not doing anything weird with your RAM (running certain overclocks) it will be fine, but with these types of scenarios I always recommend people to buy it at a store with a decent return possibility.

What will happed if I get now 2x4GB, then get 2x8GB ( same clock, same model)?

Any problems or shitty things?
