What should I choose for my build

Hi. Currently I'm planning on building a PC to run games, do a little web browsing, some 3d modelling (Autodesk Maya) and streaming movies and shows.

I am on a budget of around 2700 AUD, and I haven't chosen my gpu either. I am just confused about whether if I should get a Ryzen processor. Or a Intel 8700K, are these processors even competitors. If they aren't, what is the Ryzen equivalent of the 8700k. Thanks.

If you're thinking Ryzen, I'd probably wait until their new stuff is out...

2700 AUD, needs a 2700X and Two 2070s.  You know because 2700.  Honestly I would wait for the 3000 series chips before making the plunge

Umm. 2700 AUD is the budget in Australian dollars
