Hmmm, I'd probably be playing my forza 4 at high COD as well.

So my 56 will do fine?

Should be alright:

I was watching a video on gpu list, at the moment the best 1440p bang for the buck gpu is the Vega 64,

Shouldn't it be the Vega 56 or 2060? Seeing the 64 is $45 more expensive then the 2060 or 56.

Even gamer nexus says the 56  is a better overclocker over the 64.

Did I buy the wrong card (Powercolor Vega 56 red dragon) over (Asus strix Vega 64)?

Well the 2060 has 6gb vram, so I've never considered it a 1440p gpu (Which is annoying because the performance is actually good, it's the vram that lets it down). Vega 56 can do 1440p but not all games at 60fps ultra. It still does a decent job though.

The 64 is the 1440p gpu to buy right now, that video is right. The 2070 should have that crown, but it doesn't because it costs you your house.

There's nothing wrong with the vega 56 you've bought, you might just not get all games running 60fps ultra. Stuff like Assassins Creed Odyssey, for example, might struggle at achieving that at ultra with vega 56. But turn down to medium/high and you'll be fine.

It depends on the goal though. If your aim is for high refresh rate 1440p then you'll want Radeon VII/2080/1080ti for that. But if it's just 60 fps, vega 64 is the best option with vega 56 as a minimum.
