RTX 2080 ti + which Ryzen CPU

current specs:
R5 1600x
Corsair H110i AIO cooler
aorus x470 ultra gaming
Corsair Vengeance 8gbx2 3200mhz
Palit 1070ti Jetstream
Corsair CM750 80+ Bronze certified
since FreeSync works on Nvidia cards I got AORUS AD27QD 1440p IPS monitor

Will be getting a ROG STRIX 2080 TI soon
The Question is
 Should I stick with R5 x1600 overclocked to 4ghz & wait for Zen 2

OR get R7 2700x, settle down & wait for something better than Zen 2?
For the games I play well.. alot can guess them as for they are the reason why I want to upgrade my GPU but I know the 2080 TI will not be able to perform as it should with an R5 x1600.

PS: If I posted on the wrong thread excuse me as this is my very first post.

I agree with Popsicle, stick with the 1600x, OC it if you want, and wait for Zen 2 to come out, then upgrade to something from that group.

PS: If I posted on the wrong thread excuse me as this is my very first post "also" i'm in a pretty tight budget, life in a 3rd world country is not easy.

I'll hang with the crowd and say wait for Zen 2, then you'll know what fits your budget and performance desires.

Tho if you're getting a 2080Ti, may want to squash the "I'm poor in a third world country" stuff :)  Pretty nice machine there already.
