What is the best RAM to get? Is there a big diffrence on them? What is the best for the money? And what is just the best?

DDR3 or DDR4? RAM is RAM though. Just find a compatible set and through a reputable brand (Kingston, ADATA, Corsair, Patriot...)

The "Best RAM" really depends on what you want it for, just about all RAM functions pretty much the same.

For PCs with Ryzen CPUs, I'd get at least 3000Mhz RAM, because memory speed has more performance impact with AMD CPUs.

For Intel CPUs there's less of a difference, so you could get away with like 2400Mhz if you don't feel like spending more on faster RAM

For CAS latency 16 is basically the most common, so get 16 or below.

And other than that, everything else about RAM is really just aesthetic. the best for the money would just be the most boring looking stuff you can find.

Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen R7 3700X @4.4Ghz, GPU: Gigabyte RX 5700 XT, RAM: 32 GB (2x 8GB Trident Z Royal + 2x 8GB TForce Vulkan Z) @3000Mhz, Motherboard: ASRock B550m Steel Legend, Storage: 1x WD Black 1Tb NVMe (boot) + 1x Samsung 860 QVO 1Tb SSD (storage), Case: Thermaltake Core V21, Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

There are a large number of vendors to buy kits from such as G.Skill, Crucial, Corsair, Team, Team Vulcan, and Kingston but there are very few memory manufacturing companies.

Memory modules consist of two pieces:

  • DRAM Semiconductor Chips (Responsible for storing data)
  • Printed Circuit Board (Connects the memory chips to the rest of the computer)

There are only a handful of semiconductor manufacturers with the capability to produce DRAM chips, and they are Micron (Crucial), Samsung, and Hynix.

The best currently available chips are Samsung B-Die.

In general to find these, look for a kit rated at 3200MHz (C14).
