X570-e Asus new build won't boot
kdawwgg1221 replied to nounoursbleu's topic in New Builds and Planning
Wheres the GPU? Your CPU doesn't have integrated graphics and won't display anything without one or the other. -
Well if your cooler isn't working, my guess is its overheating and the blue screen is saving your CPU. Do you have everything plugged in?

If it is that sensitive, You could adjust the mic threshold in the audio settings. This will cutoff what it is sending to discord/game to a certain volume.

Whats the budget?

Which 2TB external hard drive to buy in 2019?
kdawwgg1221 replied to xD Power Hole Stick's topic in Storage Devices
On Seagate's website it does give a pretty decent explanation on what it covers and how long. Like I said, the process is claimed to be extremely long and painful but it did seem to work. This @Vishera guy seems pretty educated and has moved me to research other drives for when the time comes to replace my current drive. WD is great! give them a go! I just don't take the Hard Drive market too seriously as most drives are fairly close. @xD Power Hole Stick -

Honestly, to give it to you straight, the Rescue plan through seagate is usually around two years but you can pay for more. There are mixed reviews about the process and whether they can recover the data or not. Ive never had to do any of this and I have had this drive for over year (used for a little over a year before me. It was a friends drive.) Do your own research and make an educated claim. @xD Power Hole Stick -

I guess I personally haven't had any problems with my seagate drive. I like this video. Louis Rossman FTW -

They're pretty much all the same as far as speed and durability. Hard Drives have been around for too long. @xD Power Hole Stick -
I use Asrock B450m-HDV. This is a m-ATX board; however, I use a fairly large case which helps fits it all. @nnnnnnnadie

Plan on using this CPU for anything more than gaming?

Noctua NH-D15 is a very powerful cooler. It MIGHT be a little overboard, but you wont have to worry about that CPU getting hot edit: this is not $60

Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43-R0YM.

Can I put a Sapphire r9 290 cooler on a 5700 XT?
kdawwgg1221 replied to ailith's topic in Graphics Cards
If you feel confident that the cooler feels compatible, then go for it. My suggestion is if you get to a point where you feel that you're forcing something then I would stop. (I'm just restating common sense, but you'd be surprised of the stupid stuff I have done). -
They're basically the same card except for memory speed for the one that is $30 cheaper is a bit slower but you can always give it a little boost (Overclock)

I guess I read differently. That is why we are here, to learn
