Shoud i get The steam game Rust?

 

Is it good compared to DayZ?`, in the videos it seems intresting...

 

Just asking if its worth to get and dont get boring fast?, I would buy it today....

idk about rust but as for the DayZ standalone... I cannot recommend that unless you are getting it either way later on. Chances are the price will rise on the game but what you pay for right NOW just isnt worth it. So basically if you wanna save money in the long run, buy DayZ now but dont expect much.

I think DayZ is way better than Rust.  Rust may be slightly less buggy but just doesn't have the gameplay of DayZ.

If u like crafting and raiding other peoples bases, while protecting ur own and can stand all the KOS players(most of the playerbase)...yes. If u want a simpler game where u can just find the stuff u need instead of crafting get dayz

I have rust and it's soooo much fun. I can play it for an entire day and not realize it.

From what I've read, you will be trolled and gang killed repeatedly if you're a lone noob.

I haven't followed the DayZ progress page or "What's Coming", mainly, because I didn't buy it. Neither game is close to being finished. The current map in Rust is only a test map. The real map should be bigger and have more textures. The items in Rust, are the extreme weakest and strongest. There will be many more items that fall in between. The assault rifles and other military weapons will be much harder to obtain in the final game. Zombies are being taken out, as Rust is no longer a "DayZ clone". The worst part of Rust is the lagging servers and hackers not caring about VAC in official servers. Especially if the game is only $20, hackers will just buy it again when the game comes further along. It's still playable. You just have to be stealthy and not draw any attention from hackers. I'm taking a break from the game personally, waiting for some progress to happen. Garry did an AMA on Reddit that answers questions about the direction of the game.
