Sound Cards

Im looking for a decent sound card in the region of around 50 pounds, any ideas?

Don't buy one the only thing it does is maybe make the sound louder. So unless you need louder headsets or you dont have all the audio jacks necesary for your heasdset, dont buy a sound card.

Please don't get a SC. Get a Fiio e10. It would be cool to use with headphones. (assuming you're)

Most people here will tell you not to get one. At around £50, you're not going to improve your audio quality by much. I'd recommend maybe putting it towards a nicer pair of headphones/speakers/whatever else you might want. The only audio solution that really makes a big difference is an external DAC, but it will be hard to find a good one with your budget.

 

If you're set on a soundcard, then the one that @ANUPLUCIFERGAMER suggested is about as good as you'll be able to get.

Consider upgrading the weakest link in you audio chain first. Get better headphones, then use onboard

I got Razer Tiamat 7.1 ultimate headphones and am wanting to improve my audio quality, if i can

Im getting the Razer Adero's their 85 pounds and apparently good stero headphones, if you can reccomend the same quality headphones for cheaper im all up for it.

When I say quality, I mean headphones that aren't Razer. For £85 you could get a pair of SRH440, which will walk over most other headphones for the price.

You can also look at the Hd518 and if you wanted to combined you soundcard and headphone budget you could get dt770's and an E10
