I am about to put in a new computer my thought is to buy Pop on it and play some games and photo editing and other work. I have also long been eager to test building a Hackintosh therefore I covered buying parts so I can run dual boot. is this a good set for this purpose?

Yes it would work, but why not 8700k instead of 9600k.

Remember that building a hackintosh is not for the faint of heart so just make sure you know what you are getting into.

If he use Gigabyte motherboard, i 80% sure it will work for hackintosh, unless he got an unusually rare models.

Installing hackintosh is easier now than 5 years ago.

You can get a installer package which is easier to install than vanilla.
