Does anyone know if anyone makes a PCI x1 sound card with a usb port? thanks

I think finding one with a USB connection would be rare.
But finding a PCIe X1 USB expansion card and a USB soundcard would be less of a hassle i would think.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Out of curiosity why would you need a usb port for a sound card?

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

I have a usb headset that I wanted to sound better if it was possible

That's not how that works. Usb Ona sound card won't affect how anything sound because it's just that usb. Sound cards are internal dacs. A dac is something that takes a digital signal and turns it analog signal usually to 3.5mm audio jack which your headphones or speakers can use. Speakers and headphones can't use digital signals it's not possible. So your headset has its own dac usually with the 7.1 button and has the 2 audio connections omit for the mic and headphone. That dac is converting from usb to 3.5 mm. So a sound card like actually wouldn't affect how it sounds if it has usb. But a sound card will affect how it sounds if you plug your headset into it using the audio jacks and not the usb.

as @rice guru said, a sound card wont affect a usb headset as the headset will have a dac built in. usb is a digital interface not analogue.
