Hopefuly someone can help me out here, so I've had an issue where my secondary drive which is an HDD, was spinning up randomly even if i removed the drive letter so I decided to completely disconnect the drive as a temporary solution, that's fine and all but after about a day i reconnected the drive and now i'm getting this "Critical_Process_Died" crap during boot no matter what I do, i've tried safe mode and disconnecting the drive, still pops up

The only thing changed between disconnecting and reconnecting is i've installed RST and chipset drivers, that might have been the culprit but i restarted multiple times before reconnecting the drive and everything was fine

i'm hoping somebody knows a way to fix this with CMD or something beause i can't research anything on this stupid tablet, otherwise i'll just reinstall Windows I guess, which i rather not

No programs installed on the HDD

You disturbed something while removing the HDD, that type of error is something i normally get when overclocking lol. Any overclocks? is it reading all your RAM?

I thought I did but I removed one stick and restored my RAM to default speed but I still get it, also I tried booting into Manjaro and that worked fine, I'll try switching the other stick

Make sure to check all your cables are plugged in correctly, check bios is set up right. when you installed windows did you have 2 drives installed cos if so it might of put some files on another drive, not sure if newer versions still do this however but just a thought.

Rechecked Cables and I always disconnect all drives from BIOS when I install Windows, and I made sure there's no extra partitions on the HDD

physically disconnect them? cos if not then is a possibility, theres some files on your hdd, I've honestly never experienced blue screens from disconnecting a drive, maybe its possible that your hdd was for page filing? and now the system doesnt know where to do this, wish i could be more help to you but i'm afraid i'm at a loss. I would suggest plugging the hdd back in the exact same port it was originally plugged into, it is possible that since you updated some drivers that maybe these are what's causing your issue, sadly after googling i can't seem to find any more info on the subject.

No, while installing Windows i just disable the SATA port from BIOS, that way Windows and BIOS both can't see the drive, but as for yesterday, i diconnected the drive including SATA power from the HDD itself, just to make sure it will never spin, so the port never changed

Yeah i've never had that issue before either :/ not the first time i disconnect a drive and i made sure theres no page filing or anything like that enabled, but thank you anyway for researching :) its appreciated, i guess ill boot into Manjaro and backup my files for a reformat

fuck this tablet
