i need help

soo i have a question wich gpu would i be better of with ?
Gtx660 (ti) or Gtx750 (ti) 
i watched some videos where gtx660 is deffinately better but in some cases mostly newer games (i guess) gtx750 takes the lead.


i wont be playing a lot of games on it mostly Assassin's Creed series, GTA V and some shooters like Cod and BF.


what's your experience with the card and which one would you suggest more...




P.S i'm building a new budget pc witch socket 1155, with 8gb ddr3 ram and probobly i3 2240 (also i currently have gtx 460 v2 1gb) so what's your thoughts on it and what other alternative would you suggest for best budget price ?

Since the 750 ti consumes less power, I'd prefer that instead. However if you like to overclock the 660 ti will probably do better since it has an external power connector, although it depends on the model.

The GTX 750 Ti tends to be overpriced due to the high demand on used market.

 

I'd consider a GTX 950 / GTX 960 and ignore anything older than Maxwell at this point since pricing shouldn't be too far but those cards are already completely forgotten by nVidia and you want to play the greatest and latest AAA games.

The i3 2240 is fairly underwhelming, I think the GTX 950 would be the fastest possible card it can handle before bottlenecking becomes a true issue.

 

But the GTX 960 if you find one even if bottlenecked would still work out alright, only an option because maybe pricing between the two isn't that apart.

What is your budget for a CPU anyhow? Is there any particular reason why you are opting for the Intel i3. I went from an Intel i3-->i5 and the performance increase was totally worth the extra $20 I spent.

probably about $40 (maybe less) there's no reason whatsoever, i just found it for about $35

Tho i found i5 2500k for $45 if its worth it...
