Bottlenecking hell

I have an RTX 2060 and I was planning on getting an i9 9900k but I’m not sure if it will bottleneck my gpu. Can someone help?

In most cases, it will be the other way around.

 

What do you plan on doing with a chip of that strength?

You should definitely be looking at other chips like the 2700. Pairing a 9900k with a mid tier graphics card for that use makes no sense

I don't know why anyone would pair a i9 9900K with an RTX 2060, but it will run fine.  Your CPU will last you for a very long time and you'll be able to upgrade your GPU through a couple of generations and still not be bottlenecked by your CPU.

Thank you. I’ve decided to go with an 8700k and hopefully upgrade to a 2080 ti next year

Try NVENC for streaming to relieve CPU stress.
