I just started to do my rigid bending and I got a rigid insert that matches the inner diameter of the tube but I feel like the tube slides in too easy and when I look at it there is I’d say about a 2mm gap in the insert. I’m using a semi hollow insert also. Would I get a snugger fit with the solid insert that I ordered from the same company?

You should use the snuggest fitting insert you can find that also doesn't have to many issues being removed.
