Which is more expensive?

Go to solution Solved by RankUpGamers,

Ok so what is the best altcoin to mine?

Personally I'm sticking with Dogecoin now that it has some traction. But http://www.coinwarz.com/miningprofitability/litecoin will tell you the best ATM. And can I say, PLEASE don't use pools that hop coins, they kill it for everyone that wants to mine a single coin by jumping the difficulty up by hundreds, then  dropping the coin.

Which is more expensive to do? Will it be more expensive to buy GPUs for bitcoin mining? Or will it be more expensive to buy alternatives to GPUs for mining?

That all depends on what you plan to do.

If you dedicate a computer to coin mining, an alternative might be a good investment.

If you don't plan to dedicate a computer to coin mining, you might as well just buy a GPU that you can utilize for gaming and such as well.

Get GPUS and mine Altcoins (Litecoin, Dogecoin...). This way, even if the whole crypto market goes up in flames, you have good GPUS that can be resold, and if it doesn't, altcoins are doing really well.punch in a cards numbers from https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison and the cost into http://www.coinwarz.com/miningprofitability/litecoin and see which is best for you.
