New monitor crashes when trying to play games in dual monitor setup

I built a PC about half a year ago and all has been well. I've been using an Acer monitor I found on Amazon and it has been working great with no problems. Recently I decided to buy a second monitor. This one is the Acer XFA240 which is GSync compatible.  The issue is whenever I try to play games, the new monitor goes black and restarts itself.  This only happens when both monitors are on. I have no idea why it does this and I can't figure it out.  I have a friend who uses dual monitors and his works fine when he does the exact same tasks I am doing right now. My GPU is the GTX 1660 Ti and I'm using a Ryzen 5 2600X. Thanks for any help I get.

That's a really weird issue... Can't say I've ever seen a monitor crash while gaming :/ Have you tried disabling G-Sync just as a test?

 

why no dark mode?
