Ah, ok. Unless you get a super janky one off eBay or something it’s probably gonna cost $100 for the real version.

The point is to copy one off a laptop that's already owned (also the eBay ones aren't janky, just questionably obtained)

@thunderwolf7478 is the license attached to a Microsoft account?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

It is now.  I did the same thing with moving a prebuilt license to a new system before but it took a long time and I had to go through Microsoft support so I don't want him to have to go through that.

In my opinion, it's more convenient because it's an OEM license which will deactivate pretty easily and you'll need to be able to access it.
