it is fully copper, but you shouldn't do it because the "cooling plate" is just flattened heatpipes. Liquid metal very slowly reacts with cooper, heavily staining it at first while eventually eating it away. Dont know how long that will take, but ill-advised when it's part of a heatpipe, not a base.

Is the cooling plate of the RTX 2080 Gigabyte Windforce Xtreme is fully copper ?

 

I mean I have some good reason to apply liquid metal on it. I just want to confirm with you guys if it's no problem for LM

LM makes little to no difference on GPU's due to a lack of a IHS which interferes with heat transfer.
