So long as the motherboard is compatible with your components, it shouldn't be an issue. At the most, you might have to reinstall your OS. Even then, that's not always true either.

Should be fine, but without knowing your components I can't say for sure.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

what @TheSLSAMG said is right, just make sure the socket for the CPU is right then you should be fine, about the OS part i think a reinstall is imminent. Also if you can, can you give us your specification so we can help you pick a new board?

i think your build is pretty solid, but if you want to squeeze more FPS outta your build i would say upgrade to an 8700k and any aorus gaming board. Aorus gaming 3,5,7. If you still have money left over then grab 2 more sticks of 8gb then you should be set.

sorry if im hard to understand as I just pulled an all nighter.

Well, concidering this mainboards VRM heatsinks - or rather the lack theroff - an upgrade might be sensible, especially if the current board was as cheap as it looks.

Upgrading to an MSI B450m Mortar should give you the ability to pull off some decent overclocks on your 2600x (as long as you also have decent case airflow and a good CPU cooler) and it even has the RGB sickness. The rest of your setup actually looks pretty good and I don't see any reason to upgrade anything besides the Mainboard, CPU cooler and maybe the casecooling.

CPU: AMD R5 5600x | Mainboard: MSI MAG B550m Mortar Wifi | RAM: 32GB Crucial Ballistix 3200 Rev E | GPU: MSI RTX 2070 Armor | Case: Xigmatek Aquila | PSU: Corsair RM650i | SSDs: Crucial BX300 120GB | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB | Crucial m500 120GB | HDDs: 2x Seagate Barracuda 4TB | CPU Cooler: Scythe Fuma 2 | Casefans: Bitfenix Spectre LED red 200mm (Intake), Bequiet Pure Wings 2 140mm (Exhaust) | OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit
