that's because you're doing dram caching, it literally tests your ram speeds

It is caching indeed. Made a RAM disk as an E drive, and that managed 12k MB/s reads and writes, so the SSD caching is not testing the memory speeds 100 %.

yeah... caching still isn't full potential for obvious reasons

 

but that aside. it's still not as fast as a good nvme as you probably know
