Boot from Windows to Pop OS

After watching latest video about Linux adventures, I installed Pop OS, but want to do some tweaks. 1. How to hide GRUB and set Windows to default? 2. How to create icon or shortcut in Windows to boot to Pop? 3. Is there better alternative to GRUB?

you can edit grub config files to change the default and the timout.

You can't easily make a option in windows, thats what the grub boot menu is for. You can make a program to edit the config, but I don't know of anthing esxiting as this isn't very common.

Grub is the main linux boot loader, there are others, but normally just use grub.

As far as I know, macOS can boot from Windows

Yea, but they also boot differently and aren't running a normal uefi or bios, they have their own custom firmware.
