Noob fitting question.

Go to solution Solved by Kevinkt,

Is something like a H60 able to go on the back or just another fan. Sorry for endless questions.

Don't be sorry, you're asking for help on helpful forum.

Yeah a single rad you can might on the back should work on almost any case with no problem.

I am looking at a Corsair H100 from Newegg and frankly I am a noob to anything cooling related. This pc here is in the same case as mine  http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883258051

I do not know if a 240mm rad will fit for sure. As i only have a stock heat sink on it now and would like to oc. The top of the case has the 8 screw holes and that is all I know lol. I just don't want to buy it and it not fit.

Thanks!

Edit: Also will there be any maintenance once its in can I just forget about it?

I realize you didn't buy it, but what the hell is wrong with that PC and that page.

900$ gaming computer with integrated graphics and a product overview that mentions Windows 8, tablets, and laptops?

Wow. I didn't even notice that. I just looked at the top of the case and was like nope not gonna fit. that's pretty insane its tag as gaming with no gpu.

I got one on clearance there with the fx 6300 and a 7790 for like 600$ got my new gpu but looking for a cooler that I can OC to atleast 4.2-4.5. I saw a h100 for like 80$. Do you have any recommendations on a good cooler?

And yeah looks like some Microsoft money at work.

you're going to have to go with air cooling, no way you can fit a rad ontop of your case.

It's Possibly for what my friend did. He doesn't know a thing about building computers so I managed to get him to go on NCIX and use their custom PC builder and he picked out everything except for a GPU and I ended up selling him mine and upgraded to a new GPU.
