Was curious if it existed so I searched Amazon for "IDE SSD" and this is what came up. https://www.amazon.com/128GB-KingSpec-2-5-inch-SM2236-Controller/dp/B0091T4ZWU/ref=sr_1_1?qid=1554781661&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_four_browse-bin%3A6158690011&s=pc&sr=1-1 Pretty interesting, could make for a good video testing it on an old laptop or desktop.

I would just recommend someting like this. It'll be much cheaper and you can plug the SD Card into other systems.

CPU: Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.91 GHz RAM: G.Skill 4x4GB 2133Mhz DDR3 GPU: AMD HD 7970 3GB SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 500GB PSU: Corsair HX620W  Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 Case: Phanteks P400 Tempered Glass (Black) Monitor: Dell P2412H, Dell 2012H Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Classic Mouse: Logitech G203 Prodigy HDD: WD Black 3TB

systems that old are probs not even limited by the HDD.

Not true.

The SSD always gives a ton of benefit!

Even in a Pentium M Notebook.

Or an earlier Core 2 Duo Notebook. Those also can come with IDE HDDs.
