144hz through docking station

I'm in the market for a powerful laptop to replace my desktop as I need the mobility. Question is, is there a docking station that'll provide the 144hz from the laptop over thunderbolt 3 via the Dock Then to the monitor via displayport? I've got the ASUS MG278Q

TB3 is PCI-E 4x, so I don't see why not.

Same as I was thinking but most TB3 docks that I'm seeing either have them listed as 60hz or are not specified at all.

Hello, I've been wondering the same thing. 

I've got a Razer Blade 15 Base model. 

Ports: Mini DisplayPort

USB-C

 

Did it work for you? Or does someone know if 144Hz will work via Docking Station. 

Docking station like a HP G4 Dock?

I was wondering exactly the same thing but doing a rapid search on the forum I didn't find this post untill now so I made my own.

 

Anyway I kept looking for such docks and I found one but it has limited IO, Just the basic, but it supports up to 2 screens at 4K and 60Hz or 144Hz. It just doesn't specify how many screens nor at what resolution with the faster refresh rate:

It's almost perfect if it had more IO.
